If your company offers an annual bonus, is it based on performance, or is it fixed? What % of your base salary is it?

I have 2.5 years of experience as a BI consultant primarily working with SQL and Power BI. I feel a little underpaid while currently making $75k. I've been in an interim position for about 6 months now. My employer just offered me the permanent role. For compensation, should it match the amount that they gave me while I was in the interim role (temporary increase) or should it actually be a little higher?

Is it misleading to just look at Total Compensation from a $ dollar value/ Total Compensation seems to be much more subjective than base salary in terms of its value. Some factors might be:

RSUs granted on dollar value or by # of shares & stock price trends
Vesting schedule
strike price on ISOs & delta between strike price and real market value

For instance, most of value in Amazon's comp seems to be granted in years 3 & 4, but it's well known that most people last only 2 years max there.

Currently seeking a new role that’s more challenging and fulfilling than my current. I’m currently at 85k, 3 years experience but trying to shoot for something over 100k maybe around 110k give or take. How achievable is this in a decently HCOL area? Any tips for negotiation? I’m considering a less sales-oriented role that doesn’t pay commission. The new role will have a higher base but lower overall earning potential.

Hi! I was just offered a promotion into a different role than what I have currently been in. But I am really not sure what to ask for in terms of compensation. Is 88k a good salary for a 25 year old? I’m in tech working for a fed agency.

Trying to understand what would be a competitive salary should be for my position. I’ve been working as an AE at a rep firm in Los Angeles for the past 8 years. During that time, I’ve billed $178 million dollars in total—$97.5 million since the pandemic—and I’ve never not hit my budget. I’m told our profit margins are between 13-15%. My current comp structure is $110k base, $30k commissions and the promise of a $30-50k bonus if our budget is hit. Is this anywhere close to being competitive?
