Hey! Can someone tell me some contract companies that work with YouTube? I’m in a contract at a competitor and would like to make the move there. Thanks a bunch!

I was on the other side of sextortion tonight. My boss's scammers came straight for our socials which I manage. I was immediately afraid FOR him knowing someone had these pics. Fortunately they'd already threatened him so I didn't break the news. He's a single adult on dating apps. It could've been me 5 yrs ago. I'd like to think my (current) bosses would be as understanding. In other places this ruins people's livelihood. It's unfair we don't even have that privacy in our own homes after hours.

If your company offers an annual bonus, is it based on performance, or is it fixed? What % of your base salary is it?
Mine recently went from the former to the latter company-wide, which seems bonkers.

I have 2.5 years of experience as a BI consultant primarily working with SQL and Power BI. I feel a little underpaid while currently making $75k. All of my performance reviews have been positive and I have been the lead/only BI developer on two of our largest and most public projects this year. Any thoughts on what I could ask for at end of year reviews for a salary increase?

If you've had a bonus before, what's a sensible thing you've spent it on before, and a not so sensible thing?

Hi, lam fairly new in norway and I have a last interview with Accenture soon enough for the Talent Team (HR Role). So, I was wondering what would be an ideal salary to negotiate here? Asking since lam unfamiliar with the industry standards. Can someone here from the Accenture Nordics please guide me? I have a work experience as an HR for last 3 years almost, but that was not in EU.

I’m due for a contract renewal soon and looking to renegotiate my package , signed on to exclusively build and manage Webflow sites. If you’re in a similar position - what are you currently making? I have about 8 years experience as a web dev and about 4 with Webflow

I've been in an interim position for about 6 months now. My employer just offered me the permanent role. For compensation, should it match the amount that they gave me while I was in the interim role (temporary increase) or should it actually be a little higher?

Is it misleading to just look at Total Compensation from a $ dollar value/ Total Compensation seems to be much more subjective than base salary in terms of its value. Some factors might be:

RSUs granted on dollar value or by # of shares & stock price trends
Vesting schedule
strike price on ISOs & delta between strike price and real market value

For instance, most of value in Amazon's comp seems to be granted in years 3 & 4, but it's well known that most people last only 2 years max there.

Currently seeking a new role that’s more challenging and fulfilling than my current. I’m currently at 85k, 3 years experience but trying to shoot for something over 100k maybe around 110k give or take. How achievable is this in a decently HCOL area? Any tips for negotiation? Should I start at 110k or go higher to try and get them to meet me?

Switching from commission to salary!

I’m considering a less sales-oriented role that doesn’t pay commission. The new role will have a higher base but lower overall earning potential.

What % haircut should be expected? As an example, if I make 100k (base + commission) today, would it be realistic to ask for 90k (10% cut) + equity to make up the difference?

Hi! I was just offered a promotion into a different role than what I have currently been in. But I am really not sure what to ask for in terms of compensation. The job role is currently at "Digital Marketing Manager". This is within a tech industry. The caveat is that my wonderful new supervisor said this role could be hybrid with the role she thought she was going to hire for, which was Product Marketing Manager. Since it is a hybrid between the two what should I ask for in base salary? thanks

Hi! Does anyone know the salary for an EA at Google, Amazon, and Meta for SF/LA area? Any room for negotiations?

Is 88k a good salary for a 25 year old? I’m in tech working for a fed agency.

Trying to understand what would be a competitive salary should be for my position. I’ve been working as an AE at a rep firm in Los Angeles for the past 8 years. During that time, I’ve billed $178 million dollars in total—$97.5 million since the pandemic—and I’ve never not hit my budget. I’m told our profit margins are between 13-15%. My current comp structure is $110k base, $30k commissions and the promise of a $30-50k bonus if our budget is hit. Is this anywhere close to being competitive?

Just asking once more for visibility. Any Al/ML Product Managers or Product Owners here? Looking to gauge a salary range for myself. Have an interview coming up & have about 6yrs experience as a business analyst / product owner, but not directly with AI/ML.

What would be a good salary range in CAD for a Group Manager in Avanade Canada? This is in the data and Analytics domain with 8 yrs experience as a senior Data Architect

What determines strike price?

I view equity in startups as a potential future bonus. Currently, I’m evaluating a seed funded private tech startup that is net positive with a couple million $$ in annual revenue. I’ve been offered a few hundred options and am trying to understand if their strike price ($$$) is fair or not. What additional details would you ask the employer to share in order to determine if the equity offer is market competitive or not?

Which companies pays more than $300k to Product Managers with no-CS background ?

I make 195k USD plus small bonus as a Software Architect in NYC with 20 years experience and a Comp Sci degree, working for a non FAANG remotely. I can’t tell if I’m making too little or too much.
