I was hosting a pretty high level (1 or 2 level below c suite) meeting with a European client and they asked me “oh isn’t today a bank holiday you guys are working today?”.

And, while very obviously working I replied “well we aren’t a bank”. My manager was shocked for like 5 seconds and repeated what I said. Am I in trouble?
