Huge long shot, but has anyone heard of, or worked for, Bank Rifkin in Birmingham Michigan? I have an interview for an associate position coming up and don't know much about them aside from their website.

Was talking to a recruiter today and when she asked about my desired compensation I told her a minimum of $80k since it is already below the average for a Financial Analyst in nyc. Recruiter then asks me why do I think I deserve that amount. I was taken aback because I thought that is very fair for someone with experience in the field already and have a few years of relevant experience as well. Am I tripping or was that condescending? She then tries to low-ball me to $70k 😐.

My employer is looking for volunteers to do AWS cloud security courses and training to obtain certifications as we have clients requiring the skill set. Just looking to get an idea of what the course offering looks like for AWS certs and the work load. Cheers!

Is the exam for Splunk core certified user (1st cert) difficult? Just finished fundamentals part 1 and I’m not sure if I should take more time to study.
