^ creative translation: some creatives sell out and take the easy road even if it means the work isn't as good, while others fight the good fight and do everything they can to keep from preventing to the already enormous pool of shitty advertising

Creatives are delicate flowers that need to tell themselves they are "fighting the good fight" to give meaning to their work, unable to accept their job is just to make other people money.

Creatives are interesting people. Some get it and realize the best thing for the agency and for their bonuses is to retain and raise revenue instead of trying to sell it in. Some creatives never get this and put their foot down for their ideas which have no interest from clients to make.

@jc1: some creatives grow out, grow other skills, are able to see big picture, grow the folks underneath them, and build kickass creative teams. who's going to give you the opportunity to create your self-righteous work: someone who comes from creative or someone leading your creative team with any other background?

So I got divorced earlier this year. I left my husband because he was abusive and I don't hate him anymore or feel anger towards him, which has been a big accomplishment for me. I do, however, hate his family for supporting him and making excuses for him. They tried to pin a lot of his mental health issues on me and his sister blocked me on some social media. I'm so angry with them and don't want them to be happy but those feelings are preventing me from moving on. Advice on how to move on pls?
