Scheduled for my final round of interview with a tech startup for a “Director of Strategy” role that will be focused on identifying growth strategies.

Currently at $180 base with a Big 4, 8YOE, Cybersecurity background. What TC can I realistically target for, in the event I crack the interview? I’d like to aim for $220-250K base + Bonus + Equity - is this unrealistic? If not, would love to hear what ranges might be reasonable. TIA!

So I've interviewed for a position in Industry and I'm awaiting their offer. Is there a standard percentage in regards to a raise that Big 4 personnel usually expect ?

How does the referral process work in B4? Seeing a lot of people offering to refer to their companies and wondering if this could work against an applicant if they are referred by someone that is participating in mass referrals? Is this better than no referral at all?

Are partners of top accounting firms (Big 4/larger mid markets) in the top 1%?

Let's say a partner decides to take a risk for the firm in terms of a drastic role change. Say moving from a line partner to driving building of a new sector offering etc. And if he doesn't do too well in the new role. How does your firm typically treat her? I'd she thrown to the dogs? Or does it boil down to your internal network. Or is the firm typically willing to give a second chance?

Is it normal to feel so jaded after only one year in big 4?

How hard would it really be to move up to a CISO role at the big 4 firms? It seems that they have multiple different CISO’s for different countries. How difficult is it to get a position at the same firm in a different country assuming you get your citizenship/authorization and all that.

Any resume tips for Big 4 employees? How much detail should one go into (clients, ratings, roles, etc)?
