Nope. 14 is not the end of band 6 at Novartis for any role. Though one TL tried to fib me saying it was so in 2022. I decided to ignore him and ask the HR for 23 LPA. They gave me 18. Now with increment, I am almost 20. Some other female mates at 20 already at band 6.
For non-IT, it goes all the way till 20 LPA (absolutely sure and aware about 20; will not be surprised if it goes 1-2 lakhs higher). For IT, I have 'heard' it goes higher. Basically, every band has a higher range for IT jobs at Novartis.
People saying 20LPA those arent for people that newly join the company. Because for the first 2 yrs they need to give you hike.
That is correct. They will have to keep everyone (internal movers/those who got newly promoted/new employees) in the same role without promotion for at least 2yrs as per Novartis clause. They need to set a scale so that they can give you 2-yrs worth increment too without crossing 20 LPA
