How many of you are considering a shift away from London post-pandemic? Will remote working make it easier to do consulting jobs that are currently London based from outside the city? I've had it happen where our devs asked questions to each candidate based on their lived experience vs. a standard set of questions that revolve around what needs to be performed in a dev role.

Happened to me with Mindtree recruiter, for an IoT leadership position where the interviewing VP chose to no show twice… after which I thanked the recruiter that I was impressed by their book of busi-ness and that it was intimidating to be thinking about the prospect of working for Mindtree… as I’m too incapable for those performance standards… 😂😂

This is my routine:
- I have curly hair, can only wash it once a week/put dry shampoo if needed
- I brush my teeth 2 times a day
- Wear deodorant / perfume every day (my way, and good girl) and shave off any hair (I did laser but still), as much as possible. Some days, I cannot keep up with shaving (especially if it won’t show)
- I wear pantyliners and change it once a day/ change panties once a day
- I shower my body every day

For those of you that transitioned to industry /PE ops (as in my case), do you still see the same level of outreach from recruiters? I’ve seen a big drop in recruiter calls in the last 4 months or so.

Could I trouble someone for a referral to Capital One for a senior business analyst position? I’ve interviewed with them before, but have been ramping up on casing and feel a lot more prepared if I’m given another opportunity.

Verbally accepted a position that is ultimately a lateral move to industry for around 10% increase in total comp (4YOE) to help get more specific skills and experience on my resume, but ultimately giving up a manager promotion by leaving now instead of 1-2 years from now.

Was a very difficult decision and I’m still not even sure it was the right one given I can’t tell the future.
