Hey everyone, currently in the process of interviewing with EY and have an offer from Deloitte. Are there any pros/cons for each that you can share? Any recommendations around choosing one over the other outside of the type of work and TC?

I'm currently a civil design engineer, and trying to switch to real estate as a Program Manager. I have an interview in a week where they tell me I will have to work on ( for about 3-4 hours ) on an operational case study.

The job is located in Paris and the job is in French .

Does anyone here have any case studies in Real estate that they can share ? and if they're from France, that would be even better.

I left TCTS on 30th June 2022.
Now I was interviewed with TCS , and TCS HR said there should be minimum 1 year gap to join back the Tata company.
But also HR said they are trying at higher level if I will be able to join or not.
So what you think guys please give your reviews on it.

Has anyone made the move from data scientist to PM? If so, how was the transition? Do you feel like you have a leg up with technical data skills? What is the differences in comp? WLB? Got an interview opportunity from an Europe based consulting firm. Cleared the first round and waiting for final round. It's a contract opportunity with compensation of 300 euros per day. I have couple of queries -
1. Is it wise to leave the permanent job (22 LPA) and accept this contract opportunity (6 months with extension possibility) ? Pros & Cons?
2. Does anyone have similar experience? How do they make the payment to Indian Bank account?

6 months pregnant and just laid off. And 40% of my severance was just taken in taxes .. I just spoke with paid family leave and I no longer qualify even though I had been paying into the program (thanks NY).. I have been short-listed among 2 other applicants for a great UX/UI role.
The role is very UI focused, am a jr but the role is Mid weight, yet I still got through! Yay

When is it time to leave?

10th year in a relatively specialized field and partnership prospects are fantastic. Problem is, I’m completely fried. I find the work boring. I’m constantly asked to do marketing work for which I receive no billable credit. Because of this, I feel like I’m working at least12 hours a day to bill 7. I work with folks in different time zones, so I’m either up till 3 or up at 3. I sometimes nap while my family has dinner so that I can stay up late working. Time to go?

How long can I have a company wait after they send an offer? Long story short I am unemployed right now after falling for a scam business and received my offer from a company I previously worked at on Friday after waiting 3 weeks for them to send this(also a lower offer then what we first agreed upon), they emailed me today wanting an update. I have two other possible positions that seem to be way better companies and I am on final interviews with both. But I can not seem to decide what to do.

When you refund a signing bonus do you
1- refund ALL of it even taxes Withheld ?
2- refund only the amount that was deposited in your account
3- mix between 1 and 2 refund more than was deposited but less than the whole amount ( taxes should be refunded to me next year)

There is LOT of new construction in our area and my house is 15yrs old but has lots of upgrades. EY leadership - appreciate the firm’s stance on anti-racism, including the PR and black outlines around your pictures. Does that also mean the PPEDDs private club (those forbidding certain races or genders) golf memberships, dues and rounds are no longer reimbursed by the firm? If still reimbursed, when will that change? And how are you helping change policy outside of EY, perhaps at these clubs - are you resigning? - are you spearheading the change? - are you publicly denouncing membership?
