GT doesn't have analysts - it's associate. Depends on where you come in at and level of education as well as sector (PubSec vs commercial) but *generally*
A > SA: 1-4 years
SA > M: 2-5 years
M > SM: 3-6 years
SM > PPMD: 4 - indefinite
Idk, any other GT folks wanna tweak these times?
That seems accurate to me. I am public sector.

If the actual title is “Senior Analyst” it might be for an internal role—and not client facing. Our progression is Associate > Senior Associate > Manager > Experienced Manager > Senior Manager/Director > PPMD.
Not every practice at GT requires the Experienced M step, and then you ultimately (or it’s chosen for you) decide whether you become an SM for partner track or a D for the MD track.

Also, if it’s not obvious—MDs are non-equity partners at GT. You still have sales goals but they’re not as high as a Partner and you’re more delivery focused
Thanks for the insight! It be for a senior associate in the Public Sector with some previous experience (2-3 years).Any idea on pay band? I know it’s pretty wide but it be for a more cyber/Info Sec sector ?
You’d be a fairly junior senior associate. The timeline that SC1 listed is accurate for public sector. One difference between commercial and public sector is that you have a sales target as a manager in public sector but you do not in commercial. That’s something you need to be prepared for before your promotion to manager.
