I got H1B Visa and 83000 USD dollar petition amount as annual package.I am confused as this amount will be enough to survive there with wife and 7 year old daughter. My wife is working here and together we are earning 50LPA annual. We are settled here by owning house too.Confusion is my wife will not be able to work there on H4 Visa so the kind of life we are living here will not be possible there.Thoughts?Suggestions?Pros and Cons?

You’re not likely to find a rate much lower than this. I assume you’ve done the math on whether your savings in interest is worth spending that much buying points, though.
My husband and I just went through this and were able to “buy” points with Chase by opening a private client account and transferring assets. Something to consider of you have significant liquid assets.

10k in points!
Finishing refinance now. Got the best rate from Garden State Home Loans. And they are legitimately good. The process is very organized, fast and painless. Give them a shot.
I locked 1.93% without points for 15 years. Better was 2.375% for the same conditions.

I had better rates from chase, first republic, wells fargo, quicken than better. Also how long do u plan on living in your home? If it's 10 yrs or less consider an ARM
That’s a great rate for the moment.
Check the closing fees. I got a lower rate from a mortgage service but Wells Fargo cost a few thousand less in those fees and threw me some money for closing too
