How do you deal with a senior member of the team that doesn’t value your input? I’d love to be more involved but I feel like I’m not given a chance to
Currently a lowly OM when it’s convenient for everyone else ie when they can’t or don’t know how to deal with an issue nevermind the million other things I do to run the entire business. I’m underpaid by half but that isn’t even my issue atm. When it’s not popular it seems to be ok to go behind my back and make up BS stories. I have an employee who has zero regard for authority regardless who it’s in front of. It’s beyond time for for her to go. I’ve ample reason. Why can’t I fire her!?!?!
I need communities opinion in making some life changing decision, please help me out.
I'm a game artist, currently working as a generalist which includes everything from 2D art to 3D modelling to animating pipeline, it's been 2 years now working for a start-up.
I'm not very sure to continue what I'm doing ( I personally feel stuck - like I can learn new areas and add value to the company, but I feel that's not being compensated well )
Should I change the company?
Lets get this party started
Looking to be involved in a side gig/start-up. What is the best way to begin looking to get involved?
Has anyone ever left Chubb to go to Liberty or Travelers for commercial or middle market underwriting or even a sales rep role? If so, how do you like it? Came from The Hartford and love Chubb so far, but curious to see what else is out there.
Has anyone ordered from Vetta ? I’m intrigued by their capsules and generally love the style / colors, but curious about fit and quality. Seems a little too good to be true.
I just received an offer from BNY Mellon, and as per their terms and conditions mentions BNY can solely decide to reject or not accept our resignation letter, even though the notice says 60 days? Is it even legally allowed?
Can we never leave them after handing over the resignation letter until they agree as well?
So I’m late to the Indian Matchmaking series. Is it the guy who has to be wealthy and the women who need to come from wealth? There doesn’t seem to be a lot of emphasis on what the women do for a living, but the men all seem either well-off or getting called losers. Is that what people look for in real life too? So there’s no place for women on the come up to be with someone above their own social class?
Suggestions for skinny jeans that might work on larger legs? I like the general silhouette of "skinny" styles but need a brand/style that skims my legs (versus adhering to them). I'm also short so need a petite option. Is there such a thing?!?
In general, how much money should one save for bschool to live comfortably…assuming no scholarships? (Excluding tuition)

I think I’m ready to finally take the plunge and start looking for positions outside public. I’m not sure as a first year senior what I would qualify for or common roles tax seniors exit to. I would definitely be open to no longer working in tax.
I’m afraid I’m never going to find my person.

Anyone know what the sales job titles mean at ADP ?
From what I understand
Associate District Manager = SMB Account Executive
District Manager = Senior SMB AE???
Mid Market AE = true mid market AE/super high up AE??
I genuinely have no clue, any clarification would be greatly appreciated @adp
What are some important keywords to add to my resume to land me an interview as a SDR? No experience in SaaS but I have 5+ years of sales experience.
Need Advice: My company recently announced that we are in the process of being acquired by a competitor and the deal should close in Q4 this year (this is a first for me.) The acquiring company only sells services and my current company sells both tech and services. I am on the tech sales team but I am concerned because we have 2x the number of employees. Any advice would be great (networking, begin job hunt, ask for raise/promotion, etc.)
Looking to transition...
Currently in a specialized sales leader role and in the next 3yrs I’m wanting to take my skills/knowledge/experience independent and start a sales consultancy business. I have a niche I plan to focus on but was wondering what can be the pitfalls or things to be aware of going independent?
Any fellow independent consultants on here?
Currently at Salesforce as a BDR and interviewing at Gong BDR. Good idea? What’s your experience like so far with Gong as a BDR? Gong
I have been with my company 20+ years. This past year they did a sales market restructure - directions from new upper management. The restructure has been less than favorable toward my commission goals. The coming years don’t look promising. There are sales people making $$$ only here 1-2 years because they were given all my opportunities. It is hard to leave this company - it has been great until now with the changes. I have a very strong job offer elsewhere - but worried about non compete.

Does anyone know fair earnings for distribution sales? I grew my accounts 400k last year and manage around 1.2m in accounts. What is a reasonable take home I should be getting?
Anyone have any advice on how to break into customer success? I've been a BDR for over 2 years now, and I've learned a lot from that role. My next step I feel is a CSM or CSA. I am more of a farmer than a hunter and I'm very customer-centric. I find my strengths are in CS but it seems like you need experience within CS to break into CS. Any tips or referrals? Thanks!
Curious... I seem to miss the early adopter sales waves at tech companies where AEs are making 7 figures. AWS, Snowflake, Google. Where’s the next big wave?
What are people with 4-5yrs of experience making in tech sales. Curious to know what I missed out on staying in finance lol. I like to be depressed seeing the numbers.
