Currently fully remote as a contractor. Managers are super flexible & understanding. They’re interested in my interests and catering to them. I’ve been interviewing passively and I’m in the final stage at another company. Both companies are great, stable, seem like great teammates. The other company is hybrid and 3x’s in office. As a single mom I honestly am exhausted as is fully remote but I miss the people interaction. They’re offering me about $15-25k more. Not sure it’s even worth it. Contd

So I took a job as an environmental scientist back in private sector two months ago. All I do all day is write reports & keep our clients out of trouble with the Dept of Environmental Quality. Is it possible for someone without a degree or tech experience to get a fully remote entry level SDR or BDR role? If so, how? My sister’s boyfriend was fairly successful at a call center a few years ago but has only worked low wage jobs since. Any steady job would be a step up. I know switching jobs on a closed work permit requires a new work permit. Is it possible to convince employers and get a new work permit while I stay in Canada? I was a month in as Workday HCM Consultant with Accenture. They immediately throw me into the HCM courses to obtain my WD HCM certification. There are three parts HCM Essentials, HCM Applied, and HCM Practical. The passing score is 70 or above. I scored a 62 on the Essentials portion, I passed Applied, and at the end of this week Practical. During class, I received an “immediate connect” Team call and I was fired because of my low score. I'm devastated, and shocked. Yesterday was my birthday.
