I had an interview for an senior mgmt role at a bank and the interview was going very well. Beginning of the interview, she mentioned my resume was very impressive. She also said I was extremely intelligent and that I had a bright future; however they’re interviewing people with over 26 years of experience and would want someone more seasoned. I’m feeling super discouraged. Why bother with my resume at all?
I have an interview scheduled for this Friday and I don’t think I’ll be ready or have enough time to prepare. I just checked my email and realized how much work I have to get done and it’s looking like I’ll be working a lot of hours this week so I won’t have much time to prepare for my case or technical interview. Should I email the hiring team and ask to reschedule or just not sleep this week so I can fully prepare?
Anyone have knowledge of Google’s Strategy and Planning Associate role? Would appreciate any thoughts on comp/experience etc

Genuine question and attempt to understand: for those of you who are upset or unhappy about more robust efforts at diversity and inclusivity, can you explain why these efforts upset you? Or worry you?
Exiting T2 to a role in F100 with roughly equally comp. A lot of my peers are in the process with MBB. I can’t help but feel like I should have gone that way for a quick brand boost before jumping to industry 🤷♂️ Thoughts?
Any companies (not just consultancies) currently hiring in Atlanta? I’m a C in HC with 6 YOE (was in tech before).
When I join a conference call from home and don’t play a lead role in that call I usually do things like folding my laundry. The kinkiest was to have sex with my SO (the phone on mute of course). What
Is it worth getting a top secret clearance? Does it improve exit opps (firms and pay), and does it impact your project selection (leadership pressure you to do only TS work)?
Openings in Accenture, India, for career levels 8, 9, 10 and 11. Let me know if you need referrals.
Been in a new in house comms role, for a month. Just got a email from someone I previously interviewed with two years ago at better organization saying they have a open role. Would it be bad to leave?
Parents-how do you feel about daycares opening? Ours never closed but we kept kids home. Our company is WFH for the foreseeable future & it’s hard to reconcile daycare isn’t the same risk as an office
How much all-in comp to expect in program manager role at Uber in Seattle? ~2 years work experience.
Suggestions for handling a peer who constantly uses their years of experience to curtail discussions? Both of us are SM’s leading teams within the same Market so we talk often. This SM will say things like “I have 15 more years of experience than you so I am better at this than you/I know how to handle these things”. It’s infuriating and I often want to respond with “And I’m 15 years younger than you and in the same position, so I must be doing something right!” (Cont)
An opportunity sort of fell into my lap and wanted to get other thoughts. Internal audit manager role, 100% remote, 20% base increase plus better benefits. I work on a lot of audits on the tax side so am familiar with audit. M4 in big 4, not sold on staying in tax. Would I be qualified and is this a terrible idea?
Hey Sales 🐠, kindly requesting your advice. I have 4 YOE in customer success and 2 YOE as a presales solutions consultant, all in the health tech space. I’d like to grow into a sales role (e.g. Account Executive), but am not sure what a good next step should be. I don’t have any full cycle sales experience or a history of a meeting quotas, but I am comfortable in C-suite interactions. Any suggestions on what type of sales roles to consider next? Thanks!
Got an exit at a corp that likes to call their data analysts data scientists. How can I grow into a data scientist and will this screw me over for recruiting going forward since I’m under qualified?
I’m currently a senior accountant and I mainly focus on accruals and expense analysis. Prior to this role I was in State & Local Tax. I wasn’t sure if tax is where I wanted to be at the time especially because I heard you can get pigeonholed. I actually kind of miss the work that I used to but also found tax can be very mentally challenging. I’m struggling with trying to decide if I should go back to tax or maybe use my current experience to go into FP&A or a Finance related role. Advise please!
Google contacted me via LI about a strategy and operations role. I saw on LI that of my 30 business school friends who work at Google, 0 are in S&O. Why do you think this is the case? It could be random chance, but is S&O low paid, or otherwise unattractive for MBA grads for a different reason? 🤔
I need to file a work visa petition in a Schengen state. The visa is for a year and I need insurance for it. Does the Axa Schengen multi trip works for me? Because coverage says 90 days consecutive. Or should I buy 2 180 consecutive ones?
I’ve done several representations for purchasers just to make sure they are adequately represented and working with their realtor. Recently had a potential client reach out to be their personal representative of a large home purchase (foreign individual) without a realtor. Is there an industry standard fee? I was leaning 1-2% of purchase price.
Had a final round interview today where I believe 3/4 of them went really well. The call with the manager was okay - they didn’t seem as engaged. Will this hinder me?
Hey moms, How do you usually split up work after a baby with partner? We’ll have parent’s support for a good long time and I know that might mean we could slack and then rudely be awakened by reality after they leave in a few months. So want to make sure both husband and I are part of it right from the beginning. E.g: should I be thinking of asking the husband to get into the habit of putting baby to sleep every night? Etc.

Case Question: US Government decides to compensate the families of COVID victims who have passed away. How do you determine the compensation scheme? Does everyone get the same amount even though some are CEOs and others are janitors? Does it matter that some were in great health and others had underlying conditions? For those of you who switched to decaf, I found a really delicious Ethiopian decaf coffee https://www.gocupper.com/collections/all-coffee/products/decaf-ethiopia-guji I don’t think I’m gonna go back to caffeinated coffee even after I have the baby. Without caffeine in my body I sleep better now and have even better energy ✌️✌️✌️
