I see a lot of consultants exiting to Director of Strategy. Is this a relatively siloed / limited role due to the lack of PnL ownership? How does this compare with some other exits (e.g., product manager) in terms of career trajectory?

Do you look desperate if you apply to several jobs within the same company? I was recently rejected for a job I REALLY wanted at a well known tech company. And after interviewing there and studying up on the company, I just really want to work there. The positions I'm applying for are definitely still within my wheelhouse. I have 2 offers 1. Start up 60 LPA EM role, 40K ESPOS , 2 . Well known public listed company 51 lpa ( Lead Role) 90K RSUs . I said yes to second after some negotiation. HR was not willing to pay more than this even though it is just 20% hike from my current salary. But I accepted the offer as i wanted it badly.
