I've cleared all rounds of interviews in a good company (atleast acc to me) and since they accepted my 3 months NP so I don't want to let it go.
The problem is its been around 2 weeks and I still haven't received offer letter after final discussion. Till now I was following up with HR, he is a good person (what I felt).
I'm getting a little restless and want to follow up with the manager(who took my interview) to fasten the process without appearing desperate.
Any suggestions?🙏

I want to break into mergers and acquisitions but was unable to attain summer analyst positions in undergrad. Currently, I have an offer for compliance examiner for futures and a tax position at a midsize public accounting firm. What route would you suggest I take? If investment banking is out of the picture, then I would love to break into consulting for one for the big 4 accounting firms. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

What’s your most intense negotiation story? Negotiating to take a senior role at a small company. I’m negotiating the deal to be mostly variable, performance based comp. I’ll make 4x or <50% of what I make now. I’m, what I believe they say, “Shitting bricks.”

Do you things were better when celebrities had strict marketing and media teams? Coonye's latest rant made me think about this. I mean celebrities have always said out-of-pocket things but I feel like in the 90s and 2000's it was less frequent. Had a recruiter from a popular unicorn company reach back out after I interviewed with them earlier this year for a different team. The new team seems to like me and I’m being fast tracked through the process (only 2 interviews instead of 3 and all within a week). The only problem is that if I get an offer, the start date will likely be 11/15. I already have a 2 week vacation planned and I’d be screwing myself out of EOY bonus if I start 12/01. Role is MM, am I too junior to ask for a Jan start?
