Class of 2017. Just moved to a V20 firm 5 months ago in my transactional practice area (band 2) and now I'm contemplating a move to Lathams and Kirkland for the name and band 1 practice. Lifestyle and sweatshop aspects aside, is moving again right now in 5 months a permenant black spot on my resume? Anyone have any compelling strategies to present the move (including to LW/KE)?

In all honesty I like my current firm, but I feel like the exits are better with a name like Latham or Kirkland.
