Hey 🐠 Fam, looking to go to Miami for a weekend. Any recommendations on hotels? Will have a rental car so would be clutch to have free/inexpensive parking.

Not fontainebleu. Parking $48 per night. No for parking, yes for hotel

You can try getting the fountainebleu suites through air bnb and usually parking for those towers are included. You have access to the whole hotel as well as the private pools for that tower.

Miami proper or south beach?

Open to either location. Should clarify that Marriott property is preferred

I recently went and stayed at the blue moon hotel in south beach. Heard it was the nicer of the two Marriott in south beach. It was fine - it’s an autograph hotel, and does not have a classic Marriott feel to it at all. It’s very boutique, small(er) rooms but not small enough that we fell cramped. Older hotel, but cute and right next to some hot spots like clevelander, mangos, and breakfast bitch. I believe they have valet but I didn’t use it- I read reviews that say it takes like 30 minutes to get the car though, so take that for what you will

😂 there’s no such thing as free parking in Miami, expect the cheapest to be $25. Not joking. Every hotel on the beach is going to be $40+ night and you pretty much have to valet. But hotel wise I love the W south beach and my PM just stayed at the JW she loved it.

Just Uber

Uber’s are pretty cheap and wayyy cheaper than parking

For good tacos in south beach go to naked taco 🙌🏼

I have heard good things about the W near the office. There is a JW around there too I think which should be solid

I’ve always wanted to travel somewhere alone, but I’m nervous. Female, late 20s. I’m not talking about necessarily traveling to a city alone, but even like a beach vaca by myself. Wife and I spend 135k on credit card this year. We purchased a new house so there were many one-time expenses, but still an outrageous amount of cash out the door. I reviewed the splits and 90% of the bill is her, but to be fair she buys all of our shared stuff (furniture, groceries, etc.). Still, there is a major issue with her spending. How do I have a constructive conversation with her to cut back on her spending. She gets very defensive when I approach the topic.

Hi there! Just wondering if anyone could give me some insight on their experience with Amazon job applications. I've applied for 4 roles that I'm VERY confident in, but my applications have been in a "under consideration" status for a month or so. I was even referred for the position by another Amazon employee, which I was told would help. I'm starting to think that I may not actually be "under consideration", but I figured I'd ask on here! Is this common? Thanks!
