Tell the company the notice period is negotiable, once you have the offer say manager didn’t Agree for early release as you are a critical resource
I was about to give a good suggestion. I just recently gone through all this and cracked multiple offers and the best among. But you said spoilers stay away, they are not going to anywhere, I find them all in my posts too, so being humble while asking for the suggestion is the first sign of acceptance, you didn’t show that. Enough of lecture.😂😂😂😂
I normally resign first and then start searching for job once my notice drops down to 60 days. I have done this two times in my 11 years career.
It depends on your risk taking capability and temperament.
I will say try searching for job in MNC company like TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Capgemini...as these companies have notice period of 90days so they accept someone who have 90days notice
If this wasn't possible then resign and search for job
Do not think of resignation now. Wait atleast for a month. Market is little low.
That's not true, market is everything but slow. Every week I'm getting 25-30 calls and 8-10 new interviews.
It's hard to suggest the right way, because your luck plays a major role here.
I have had a phase of 2-3 months wherein i didn't get a single response for any of my job application, except the automated rejections from no-reply@company-name.com. I also had a phase wherein I'd receive an interview call every other day.
'Not being on notice or having an offer in hand' gives you the power to negotiate than 'being on notice and running out of time'.
This is true only if you don't have enough savings in your bank account as backup.
This is my two cents.
Try to get another offer from company which has 90 days notice and then put down your papers and search better options
