I interviewed for the position of Associate Human Capital Advisory role at KPMG. I cleared my first round but for the second round tgey gave me 2 case studies and one excel assessment to be completed in 2.5 hours. I think I messed up the case studies and just wrote the approach and recommendations but didn't include any other preferable portions. Is there a minimum cutoff for these assessments?

I have recently joined EY SaT group as senior consultant recently in Netherlands. I’m tripple masters in MS economics, MBA and MS business analytics. Have 4 YOE in different industries but no M&A experience specifically. Any ideas what company should be offering me? I’ll be working as expert on commercial due diligence, FDD and valuation teams and doing automation alongside. is it wise to demand higher salary or promotion soon after I have proven that I can work and do it better than most?EY

You’re fully entitled to ask. They want you so you can set the expectations so you can make the decision. That said the other offerer should be flexible.
I delayed a month whilst I evaluated offers. General principle is 14 days acceptable. But push EY
I’ve been waiting 3 weeks for an EY contract after getting a verbal offer, really taking its time…
and have you recieved the contract yet? or still waiting. also was it just a verbal offer or also on mail saying offer has been approved. thanks

Definitely follow up. I would even suggest calling them directly to get a response instead of waiting for an email.
do you think that email confirmation with offer details and the phrase "your offer has been approved" should mean that its final and I dont need to worry about receiving contract in time? Just don't want to be left without any offer. cheers
Again, I'd just follow up on that email and ask if contract is on it's way as you want to feel comfortable turning down the other offer knowing the conditions of your contract. It's a very reasonable thing to ask.
Ask when contract is avsilable
Wait the written contract then reject the other offer.
I'd follow up again, no matter if the HR person gets pissed - ultimately they have to answer to hiring manager too, who certainly wouldn't be all too pleased losing a candidate over HR being too slow. Plus it's highly likely they are just a bit stressed, still the end of holiday season and they might be understaffed. I was in a similar situation a few weeks back, did a few follow ups after the verbal offer because I had another offer on the table and it was fine, they were very understanding and hurried up 😁
