What is culture like at KKR? I’m being considered for a EA role with a high level exec and I’d like to hear what people’s experiences are there. Open to all feedback but based on past experiences with other firms, I’m trying to avoid anywhere that is very “boys club” and has a “Mad Men” outdated view of administrative support. I’m looking for a firm that views their EAs as part of their team and a business partner, not “just the secretary”.

Really annoyed by the email EY sent about the work from home policy and the “exception” to client travel. I’m sure partners and managers will use that language to intimidate colleagues into working from offices and forcing client travel. I’m sorry but I don’t need to go into an office to reconcile a bank statement or ask some temp staff accountant a question they know nothing about. I’m all for a virtual new normal going forward and not seeing my useless colleagues at EY for a long while.
