I'll be joining as Senior (42) in EY GDS. Can anyone tell extra perks that I'll get by joining EY GDS on top of Ctc

I was informed today that my employment would be terminated at a tier-2 consulting firm in Toronto. The reasons for my dismissal are unclear and I would like to get legal advice on the termination agreement and severance package that was offered. Has anyone experienced a similar situation and can refer a good employment lawyer?

Did anyone have a serious salary jump moving into tech recruiting from another area?

I'm up for a promotion from Senior Account Director to VP Group Account Director. I have 6-7 solid years of director experience and I'm based in NYC. 12+ years digital experience overall. For any experienced Group Account Directors out there, would you mind sharing your salaries? I'm aiming to be at a base of $200-205k which is a 15-20% bump from where I am now. Is that reasonable?

Have had ups and downs before, but now I'm really in the pits. I've been unable to leave bed for days.

I got through the last 4 months by telling myself that I'd take my bonus and get out. I was losing it in COVID. I was working straight from getting up to falling asleep. I caved better WLB.

Following up from my last post about remote being possible for our profession. Do we as HR professionals have concerns that going remote will also increase outsourcing of the remote roles to more call center environments/PEO/etc.

I feel like my life has been stagnant for about 2 years. I have the same ‘meh’ day over and over again at work. Overall have every symptom of ‘burnout’. Outside of work I mainly lie around and watch tv. Only time I have a lot of energy is when I was on a beach vacation or when I drink a TON of coffee. I get big ideas about doing the things I enjoy outside of work but never do them. Dating life is nonexistent. I kinda think I’m depressed, but don’t want to go on meds. Any advice?

Back in 2017 I quit an absolutely awful company that treated me (and all other lower level employees) like trash. We were constantly being reprimanded about not doing our job well enough, but then would also get yelled at for overtime when we tried to do our job well.

Preparing for an interview with Google for their product strategy/gtm role. They said it’s for l6/l7 role. Should I expect estimation / technical questions? When answering questions should I avoid going too deep? The answer examples I see are typically super high level for biz questions, but I’m just worried that a lot of answers are provided by junior folks (apms etc)

I got an offer from EY GDS India with 11.5 LPA Fixed and 5% Variable pay. For some of my friends got 10% variable pay. I am at staff level. Senior and above only will get 10% variable pay or even at staff level they will give 10% variable pay?
My Professional experience is 3 years and 2 months in Cyber Security.
