Need some guidance here, currently working at a top 10 firm, I like the IT audit work, I enjoy my team, but I’m feeling like this will be my last busy season here as I want to try some place different + get better pay. My main question is… should I go for a big 4 for 1-2 years to gain that experience in my resume and then jump to industry or should I jump to industry directly? TIA

How do I ask for pay parity with peers? External hires of course make a higher base, but some reps that have been moved up are making a higher base due to starting higher when hired as SDRs. I am a top 10% rep in the org, so do I approach it based on performance or parity? Also I know better than to name drop, but is it acceptable to admit that I know what my peers make when making the ask?

Recently I see openings for PWC data engineering practice from associate to manager levels for candidates with Sap, Oracle ERP Background. I am currently well settled in Oracle ERP skill with good role but this Data Engineering role seems like good opportunity to transition to DE roles. I just got offered a job with a firm that has billable hour requirements. I’ve never had had billable hours. Is is appropriate to ask what the billable requirements are? I have a good idea from someone I know who works in a different department but want to confirm what they told me. They also provided vacation time of 3-5 weeks. So to everyone staying in the newly rebranded DAT, I'm curious what you think our long-term exit ops will looks like. Under RA it was possible to leverage some work in ICRS or non-audit clients as "consulting work" but we're basically losing that bridge as far as I understand. I'd like to still think there's opportunities outside of just IT Audit waiting for me but have my doubts.
