I'm ok with overload/extra work. I am (still) seeking remote roles as I got depressed staying in outside environments(college and work before lockdown), I end up being unproductive, self loathing, depressed person(inspite of studying in tier 1 college).
But all the remote companies I applied for, they turn me down after last CEO/HR rounds saying that my 3 months notice period is too long.
This going to office anxiety and depression vs 3 months notice period has put me in a deadlock
I'm trying to freelance so much in free- time, my health is deteriorating, although I'm giving my best, exhaustion from work leaves me less energy to freelance. And it's just because I need something to back me up when I resign with no offer in hand. Haven't slept since 2-3 weeks but I'm still ok.
I have 2 kids and my family is going through tough time, so too scared to put resignation and go through 3 months notice and seek remote work.
So now It's like triple deadlock with deteriorating health.
I only wish my office understood it and gave me remote flexibility. I can't use my mental health to get permanent remote job 🥲. "Why can't companies that openly support mental health let a colleague option to work remotely if office/city environments gonna hurt them mentally."
It's tough man. Deteriorating. I learnt skills I never imagined I would just because I wanted to remote work for my mental health and live with my family. But all these deadlocks are making my path tougher. I hope I'll go through these.
I'd honestly ask if someone can advice me now.

Hey.... We all are in this together...sooner or later we have to report back to work. Sending strength to you.
Nah, not doing that. Resigned and probably find another remote job or freelance. But won't go to another city. Ever.
Will work from my village
