I’m coming up on my manager promotion in the next couple months, but have gotten an IA Manager offer with great pay bump/yearly bonus/RSUs at a decent size public company. Role scope will be both SOX & Operations, will this be a good path to Controller/CFO? I don’t want to get stuck in IA forever, but I would think the level of operational experience would be good and pivoting out wouldn’t be too hard after a year or two. Thoughts?

What is a reasonable TC I should target? Target cities are Boston and SF.

From last 2 years I am observing one disparity in IT industry. Freshers who are getting hired from institutes like CDAC are drawing more packages than the seniors who holds more experience . While hiring senior resources companies in the very first call informs that they do not have a budget for the expected salary which he or she is asking for. On the other hand, same company hires a fresher for more salary. Fishes, I want to know what are your opinions on this. No negative comments plz.

I am applied to IBM multiplied times. Heard they hiring big time. However even am all the skill set they are asking and a good resume, have never received call from them. Went through a referral. Still same. When my reference asked the HR about me not getting a call, he said it sometimes happens. Nobody knows who will get the call. Sometimes people get in a day, but many times they don't. I need to change a column of text. The text in the column currently is a ranking we used for sales data ex. Tier 1, Tier 2, etc. and I need to change it to Small medium or large.
