Applied for a position in Johnson and Johnson Canada. Reached the final round 3 weeks back. After not getting any updates I emailed the HR a couple of weeks back. They responded back telling me that they’ll have an update for me the next week. Again I emailed them on Thursday asking if they have anything for me before the long weekend ( Good Friday & Easter). No response whatsoever. Will emailing them again be inappropriate? I desperately need this job

I’m also done with firm politics, billable hours, and mystery comp models. But I’m a sucker for security and the “devil you know” has kept me here for years. Are lower stress law jobs a real thing in house and how do you get away from litigation if you haven’t been working hardcore on contracts?

L2- on 12th Oct
Hr called on 13th Oct. Asked for details like exp ctc, yoe and np. At the end he asked some time to come with final figure. It's been 2 days. No updates after that. Also, once I told my expected ctc 7LPA for 3.2 yoe. He didn't ask for negotiations too. How long is good to wait before asking the hr.
