Hey fishies! First year Investment Banking Associate here. Trying to gauge whether or not my base salary offer of $120k is low - any and all input is appreciated! I have a friend who said they got massively underpaid in their first job because they just took what the firm offered and I don't want to follow in their footsteps.

Anyone taken the pay day to switch between competitors (ACN, Deloitte, PwC, etc.)? If so, what kind of raise / bonus did you get? I'm a new consultant making ~$95k. Also interested in MBB figures.

Flight was delayed 3 hours last week and they gave me 7,500 bonus miles after I submitted a complaint. Is this the norm for a 3 hour delay? Any tips to get more miles when this happens?

Chase Mileage Plus has failed me. Never got my lounge passes. At airport now. Lounge can't look me up. Refuse to pay extra. Chase can't give me a pass or compensation for the trouble. #somad
