I see a lot of people making more money when they exit. In my experience, I have yet to find a role that pays more for a similar level of responsibility in a similar location. Current M in T&O at $153k in the Midwest (not Chicago). Offers I’ve seen at the manager level in industry in similar midwestern cities at the manager level are typically between $110-130k with a 15-30% bonus. Any advice on finding an opportunity that will lead to a salary increase, even if it’s only a modest one?

Having an Interview this week, and don't know how high I should set my salary expectations. I currently earn 24k/annum base + comission. I am a 10 yr lawyer. 7 yrs in my practice area. Little over a year at current firm. Still an associate. Im at large plaintiff firm w/ billable requirements. I do mass/class cases and hold a couple leadership positions (these were competitive to get). What should salary be and when should I make partner. I’ll add I work remote and pretty autonomously. Little contact with partners or anyone at my firm.

I got selected in KPMG and getting a good 70% hike but i think i lowballed myself when the HR once again asked yesterday if i'm okay with the package. I immediately said i'm okay as they already accepted my initial quote and pushing them for more would be a greedy move.

but the thought that i could have gone for a higher package if i wasnt overwhelmed by their "we care for you" gesture is making me anxious.

This is my 1st shot at Big 4, so i am already excited & nervous.
