I work, MAYBE, 20 hours per week currently and spend the rest in my side hustle.

It’s ok. Raises haven’t kept up with inflation. Feels like remote work has caused days to be longer, typically because they start way earlier, but once my day is done I’m done. As with all things consulting most of your experience depends on the quality of your MD, your team, and your client.
