Hey Folks, My dad has US visitor visa and in past he visited us alone but had several issues during his stay ( he has multiple preexisting conditions) This time I want to find a way to bring his caretaker with him for the duration of his stay. My dad can sponsor the visa. Just want to check if someone has gone through this process ? is there a way to sponsor a visa for someone who is not your relative.

You can fill out Form I-134 and sponsor his caretaker. It'll have to be you not your dad. Any citizen, permanent resident or nonimmigrant living lawfully here can do that.

You need to contact an immigration attorney. If the caretaker is working while he/she is here a regular visitor visa will not work. You could try sponsoring the caretaker as a domestic worker, but that can be quite burdensome and difficult.

Why not get a care taker here? Overall you may need a business visa for the care giver coz they will be working and getting paid for their services here.
That would be last resort as it is going to be too expensive.
