Hey folks, what can I use over the counter to improve my focus marginally? I am concerned that I have undiagnosed ADHD but until I get a diagnosis, looking for ideas to get some improvement even if 1 percent.

Ashwagandha, theanine tea and cbd capsules or oil.
They do a better job of alleviating mental fog and stress which leads to better focus

Bronkaid + caffeine helped with focus when I first tried it, but effects diminished with repeated use, in my case it was around 5 times. I chose to stop instead of increasing dosage. I did feel a caffeine high and slightly jittery, but something I’ve grown accustomed to from taking work out supplements.

As difficult as it is to maintain (especially for someone with ADHD), healthy sleep, diet and exercise routines are the most impactful.

My current role started out as a way to increase my skills, but for the past year the majority of what I’ve done is transcribing data between systems, which is one of the things I’m very bad at. My brain switches letters/numbers. With some recent changes, all other responsibilities were removed. Hello, I'm new to glass door but thought this was pretty neat and 1 am looking for advice so why not. work for an animal shelter and love love love the job, however I was diagnosed with complex PTSD, chronic anxiety, and depression, a couple months after getting the job and my mental state has deteriorated more and more since, I also have IBS due to anxiety and here more recently I ended up in the er and was given medication that made me throw up so much I now have an abdominal hernia.

My therapist just said he could no longer help me because I went back on social media to see what my ex has been up to when I said I wouldn’t. I don’t know why this is so wrong. I’m sorry that it’s taking me longer to heal and I’m not ready to let go.

My first therapy appointment tomorrow! I’ve never dealt with depression before having my second kid and my PPD was/is rough! Filling out the intake form I basically had to list out all the things I’ve dealt with - rape, mom issues, death in family during pandemic, kid hit by car, ppd, and a slew of over things… looking forward to working through these things over time, whatever that might look like.

I just have to say that signing up for therapy (and finding my current therapist) was one of the best decisions I made in my life. I’m learning a lot about myself and how to live a happier life. I wish people could learn about these things without therapy. And I wish more people would be able to take advantage of counseling.
