Need help decide between 2 job opportunities

Current company: UC Life Science Startegy consulting where I make 14 LPA. The company doesn't have anybody on payroll, all employees are on contract basis which means there's no insurance or PF or even salary slips, we get paid on the basis of an invoice we have to generate. But the culture and team is amazing with great learning exposure, it's like a school in itself for people like me who have no prior management consulting experience.

After having a record year I get an 8% raise, which is inflation. So basically no raise. Not sure why I worked so hard and made so many sacrifices.

Need advice. Leadership originally referred to us as Specialists. For the past month or so, they've been telling us we're Project Managers in absolutely no uncertain terms.

But they have told us flat-out (even when asked directly) that we won't get a salary change or even just a title change. What should we do? It seems unethical at the very least.

Has anyone in HR, HR Consulting, and HR Program Management successfully negotiated equity as part of your total rewards package and / or doubled your salary even though it was not initially offered to you? What tips, resources, and strategies helped? For those outside HR, what would help strengthen the case?

(For some reason HR Managers aren’t offered equity at same rate as other functions though the impact to the org is obvious IMO)

Has anyone left healthcare and is now really happy? I’m an MSN, RN with 12 years hospital experience. I’m burned out and tired of making crap pay. I have an opportunity outside of healthcare that would pay more and challenge me in new ways that I haven’t experienced before. I'm currently working as a financial analyst and looking to switch to strategy & ops roles.

I'm on my notice period and got an offer from a company which is the role I'm looking for. However, they've given only 1 day to respond to the offer. This company is 2nd on my priority list and I got this from a personal connect.

Next week I have an interview with my 1st priority company (but that is interview 1st round).

Is it okay to first accept an offer and then say no & not join?

Accenture CN peeps, my manager has not been able to staff me to a project for 2 weeks now after my release from one of the projects where the role as as good as content manager’s. I had voluntarily asked for my roll off as the role was just to upload come content on various platforms. They tried allocating me to some internal project but I asked them to staff me on a client facing project.

I want to know what is the impact of all this on your performance or relationship with manager etc.?
