Bain & Company Can any Bain & Company fish provide insight on Bain's expense policy? When WFH, at client site (outside of based city) and when working with local client...
It would also be helpful to provide insight on travel policy - first class in which flights, always 5-star hotels? Etc.
Thank you!

McKinsey & Company Has Mckinsey met BA headcount quota for the year/did they freeze hiring? I interviewed and got to last round last year, and applied again with a referral two months ago but haven’t heard anything from recruiting. Last year I heard back within 1 month of referral drop. I would’ve thought with my 1 more year of experience I should be able to get an interview easily.🥲 McKinsey & Company

They’re all the same unless you’re trying to compare a Marriott to a Super 8
Establish healthy habits from the beginning and don’t let it affect your health negatively. The novelty wears quickly if you have to do it virtually every week.

Airline depends on where you live, although Delta is the best if they have a lot of flights in your area. I find Hilton and Marriott to be more or less equivalent, though I feel like Hilton’s rewards program is better. Just pick one and stick with it for the status. And take advantage of the expense account meals to choose the healthier (and pricier) options like grilled fish.
Marriott for hotels. Pick a hotel and stay there pretty much every week and it eliminates a lot of the stress. Book the hotels way in advance to make it work and cancel if needed.
If flying, don’t wreck yourself with really early flights if possible.
I generally worked late Monday through Wednesday to leave at a reasonable time Thursday and focus on home during the weekend. Also try to find one thing each day to prioritize about you and your normal life. Could be a show you like, reading the Bible, etc. just make sure you block off a few minutes in the morning or evening to do it each day.
Pro
Marriott due to greatest number of options for both stays and redemptions. Pick an airline with a hub in the city you live in. Get a solid rewards card like chase sapphire reserve.
Depending on your location.... for West Coast Alaska airlines is the best rewards program. Otherwise Delta is best. Marriott for hotels.
Pro
Direct flights are the best, go with whomever is a hub so you get the most options home. Yes Delta is the best.. but when you live next to a United Hub you deal.

Delta and Hilton... don’t forget wearing your mask!
