How is everyone searching for jobs right now? We’re having a lot of trouble finding the right talent and I feel our recruiters are just cold calling everyone on LinkedIn. Is there anywhere else you all typically search for jobs? Would you take a cold call from work recruiter at an independent agency you may not have heard of?

A smaller hedge fund is very interested in my friend for their Asst Controller position where the work would be more interesting for them but the organization structure is flat and brand recognition is lower.
