My apologies. Just realized I flipped the symbol. It should be >

Would advise against
The Salesforce practice is actually really good. However, people from the practice are consistently poached or pursue better pay elsewhere because Salesforce skills are in demand. Cap NA doesn’t pay well compared to other firms - this is known.
Engagement Manager equates to a Project Manager or Project Lead. It’s not a band level title.
If you aren’t getting a salary increase and better title, keep looking. They are going to work you because again the good Salesforce people don’t stay long.
Why do you want to do this ? Unless the increase in $ is very significant I would not.
Ask them what the pay is for the position. Money talks, titles are bs
I know someone who works at Capgemini and really likes it but their culture seems a little off... And their benefits aren’t as good as Accenture. I would hold out for a better opportunity.

I’ve actually seen a lot of good from Capgemini specific to Salesforce. I can’t speak on the other areas or greater company, but they have a good leader for SFDC and are doing some good things in that space. I would give it a serious look.
Ya but still interested in pursuing, can someone from Capgemini pls explain me the levels/titles please?
Engagement Manager is the role name while assigned to a project, but it’s not your actually level.
You could be an EM as a manager, or senior manager, or principal. Your levels determine your pay band and additional responsibilities internal to the company, such as sales or people management.

That hierarchy is not accurate for USA
You’re downgrading from Accenture. Unless it’s a title + salary bump, I wouldn’t consider it.
PM for more details. I’ll answer any questions you have.
I worked there. Agreed it is a step down from Accenture, if only because it’s so disorganized. That said, they do a decent job poaching from ACN.
To answer your Q, the level varies and Cap likes to keep it vague in job titles. You could be a manager or senior manager with that title.
Is work life balance better than ACN?
Commercial or government?
Former Capgemini employee - engagement manager is their name for a Project manager role. Internally, the have different levels, whichvare based on the project budget size.
When I left last year, they had a good SFDC practice
You should expect a Principal role.
