Hey guys, I’m currently 23 years old and I work at JP Morgan Chase as a relationship banker. I’ve completed the SIE, Series 6, and 63. I’m not really happy with my current salary and I want to stay in the field but want a higher paying position for sales, can I have any recommendations on what would you do?

I second this. A Series 7 opens up a ton more options.

Heard chase was toxic company if you wqnted to get promoted or excel. I would say leave while you can and find something better. If your not happy with you salary and their not willing to give a significant raise then time to go.

You lucked out ; )

I am currently an RB for Santander, absolutely hate it, gonna be going into a completely different field soon.

If you really want to stay in sales in banking, see if you can get the licenses needed to become a Financial Advisor or maybe look into becoming a mortgage rep.

If you’re open to sales in a different industry, I’ve heard that SaaS sales reps make RIDICULOUS money.

Hello - I am team sales manager. I have been in my role for over 2 1/2 years. I currently make around 52k base with 19k at risk for a total of 72k or more. I recently applied to a position with the same title, however I would go from an in office worker to a virtual worker. Since I started I have finished my bachelors and completed my MBA. I would be doing the same job virtually in a different org. Would it be acceptable to ask for a sizable base increase if offered based on education attained?

I’m in this vicious path of applying and trying to transition away from reception job to analytics.
Can’t get a job b/c I have skills but no experience, can’t go for a masters b/c I’m not using the current degree I have now, dating is rough b/c I’m not up to par salary wise, especially b/c we all want to be with someone who can keep up with our lifestyle.

How do I to get out of this linear mind set? For example: I need A to do B and then C.
