Hey guys- Was supposed to start at a firm in less than 60 days from today. I just got notice today that my start date will be pushed back 6 weeks. I have already signed a lease and planned the move to a new city. Now, i’ll be sitting around for almost 3 months (as of now) in the new city with no job/income. Wondering if I should try to get out of my lease and looking closer to new start date to verify I will be starting and economic conditions do not get worse. What advice do you have for me?

My current utilization is 105% , and planning to take leave from 12 Dec to 23 Dec i.e will be back to office on 2nd Jan

What jobs to people look at when going to industry after working in Risk Advisory? I have my CPA but I honestly don’t really feel like I know much about accounting (studied for the test, not to retain the info) and wouldn’t really want to continue doing Risk Advisory considering I’m leaving the role.
