I would like to know the interview process of Hitachi Vantara. The first round of Solutions Architect interview happened yesterday. Can someone provide an insight about number of interviews and how many days does it take to complete the entire process? This was specific to services business line. Appreciate your response Cheers! Hitachi Vantara
Work on something you like that has some theory in it which later you can explain in the interview and show you know stuff.
For example : I built couple of services in my house, all had to talk to know each other and using a secure methods. So after finishing the services, I programmed a discovery service on my own with multicast and sort of ssl.
Had a lot of fun to talk about it in the interviews and explain how it all works.
Wow. I’m interested in talking about it some more
Personal projects are a good chance to show your breadth of skills. They typically can't be big enough to show depth
IE: build an API and a UI that are in integrated, showing front end and middleware skill.
Deploy those 3 services (DB included) into AWS or GCP, showing some DevOps skills as well
OP, no. That's totally fine. Like FSD1 said, if you can get it working, it doesn't really matter how you figured it out. We all learn from each other.
That depends entirely upon what projects you've worked on. Have you taken on websites? Gaming AI? Mobile applications? SaaS? There's plenty to choose from if you've been around and have taken on a variety of work.
I’m new - so far I’ve made a wed app that uses twitters api, a script that enables security tokens on Mac, a web app that shows me what song is playing and now a game. So far I feel python is of more interest to me.
Ones that you have been a major contributor
Never lie about projects on your resume. That will always be up to you what to put in there but never put in a fictitious project there. Good luck!
If I ask you about it, I'll know if it's fake.
Sincerely, someone who's caught a lot of people lying in interviews
That depends. What projects have you worked on? Make sure you had a particular role in that project. Hope this helps
They’re my own that I worked on by myself
