AVP is a position where you will be a team lead. Some teams have single AVP, some has 2 AVPs if team is big. But here AVP means team lead position.
VP will be person responsible for the delivery of that product/application, and who has teams working on his application including DEVs, BAs.
Usually experience upto 8 comes under ENO Role.
Experience above 8 years comes under AVP.
Okay, this seems really different situation. Wait for the offer letter. It's always good to have AVP than ENO position :)
If you work in Tech please don't join this bank..you will just get frustrated to work in an extremely outdated and hierarchical organisation full of boomers
How much max offer an AVP can get at Credit Suisse?
That's weird. AVP would need at least 8 years experience
Anything can happen in CS in my own experience I have seen people having 3-4 years been hired in AVP roles and there are people who have been hired into ENO role with having experience more than 10-13 years. One more classic example in my team when I joined CS in 2017 there are contractors who now turned into Managers directly. In terms of hiring and promoting Cs doesn’t follow any Ethics.
It’s just like Team lead position with few resources under you will be reporting to Manager (VP) it’s your responsibility to overview the work of resources assigned.
The titles is the company's way of determining your pay scale...ENO, AVP, VP, DIR, MDR. The higher the better. If you have more than 10 years experience go for the VP because promotions are a joke....
Better yet stay away! Especially if you're a techy because you'll go back in time!
Assistant Vice President?
I don't know. I am 2 years experienced. An interview is scheduled for the same
