As my last agency was falling apart, I started looking for a new job, and per usual, it took a while to find the right fit. I hit the last interview for a job that sounded collaborative, accepted my skills, moved me to “Senior”. But they asked for my salary range and told me they had an interview w/someone else. I wanted the job so much that I think I lowballed at $75k. They immediately accepted. Am I underpaid because I was excited?? (Altho the job is awesome so far.)

My joining date at EY GDS is on 26th of September,2022. By now, I have received a link to upload required documents and also I had a BGV process done by FADV. However, even after completion of address verification, I received a mail stating that my address verification was not successful and I was asked to share my permanent address. I work at a consulting firm and next year I’m hopefully going to get booked on Data analytics engagements (starting with the business intelligence segment). One AD said it would be helpful to learn Azure cloud. Where should I start with that and what are some the things I should know/ be able to do in Azure cloud? I feel very confident with SQL and Powerbi and I’m decent with Python, but I don’t have a lot of technical knowledge with things like Azure Cloud.

I’ve been told by SMD in Consulting (who recruited me) that I should be expecting L6 SM in the next year, year and a half, and likely won’t get promoted as fast in Strategy.
