Hey guys! When do you think would be a good time to ask for a internal transfer? Just joined a company but I’m more into advisory or consulting side of things. My company does have a service line in Accounting and Business Advisory, and also due diligence and transaction advisory. But I feel really bad if I tell people I wanna transfer after just a month I started and also I have no idea who I should be reaching out. If I don’t do it now would it be harder later?

Is this a bad time to transition into a new job? There are open opportunities but is it too risky? Anyone here transitioned during COVID or planning to? Please share your thoughts!

Hi! I’m running a startup after work for this neat web app idea for the last year and although we’re still building it, I feel like I’ve learned and directly applied the product management role. And I love it! My question is: should I list this as experience in my resume? I previously have been in pr agencies where work is fast paced and as an intern, i understood the intensity needed to work and consider myself as someone who is really willing to work hard long hours and deal with pressure. All my education is international in legal, RE, taxation and I have 8 years work experience. How do you know when you should accept a job offer? I’m struggling with an offer I currently have - the whole package is pretty decent and I got along with the people I interviewed with. However, they were all 10-15 years older than me so I’m not sure how that will work out for me in the future. I’m also not completely sure if I want this job since it’s an area of accounting that I’m not familiar with, but at the same time I want to leave public before busy season.

Need some advice, I’m an experienced audit staff looking to transition to FDD or Valuation after busy season.
