Hey everyone, I’m wanting to transition to tech from healthcare. I have 5 years experience, working front office (clinic scheduling, admin etc), currently back office (referrals, prior authorizations) , I have basic medical billing/coding knowledge & also provider credentialing experience. Any recommendations for tech roles that could be a fit with my background? I do NOT want to be in customer service or call center type role if at all possible though.

Anyone else change firms and realize the health insurance at their new place sucks?
I switched from one big law firm to another, but in different states. Reviewed benefits before taking job and it was normal medical plus CVS Caremark for prescriptions (but the benefits package also had a breakdown of $10/$15/$30 or 50 copays of prescriptions so it seemed like medical covered those too?). So a medication I have been prescribed for years and always filled at CVS is now $300/month.

I am a skilled nursing facility biller and collector for Medicare & Insurance, my job can absolutely be remote but the company I work for refuses to allow employees to work remotely. I’ve been with this company for 10 years and am looking elsewhere to find the same position but remote so I can move out of state. Noticing that other companies don’t pay billers well, making me feel stuck. This job is a lot harder than people realize and feeling like I already don’t get paid enough. Any advice?
