Hey guys - does anyone have recommendations for Indian wavy 5x5 or 6x6 closures? I was going to order off of Amora Renae (https://www.amorarenaecollection.co/product/thin-swiss-lace-5x5-closure/) but they aren’t restocking. I’m still getting bundles from them, but clueless on another solid company that would have matching hair (friend is making me a wig bc of a natural hair crisis I’m having, I’m absolutely clueless when it comes to anything like this)!
What are your thoughts about someone willing to pursue SAP consulting as a career ? Oracle and SAP are standard ERP systems in Fortune/Big companies so even if one joins and learns in 2-3 yrs what are the growth opportunities in SAP ? I do recognize that there are a lot of advanced planning systems out there but in reality is it fair to assume that one can easily plateau off in 5 yrs from a career progression standpoint?SAP Oracle o9 Solutions Blue Yonder Kinaxis Inc.

Do some research on Glassdoor on the company. There is a section dedicated to salaries . As well think about what other benefits the role offers - wfh or some flexible arrangements, how close is it to home, growth potential from personal and business perspective, annual bonuses etc.
From my experience, the HR manager roles at companies I’ve been involved with are more transactional and less strategy. TA experience has always been more in depth on strategy (in my experience) and called for a higher salary. I think it really comes down to how involved you are in strategic planning at the company level
It depends on your transferable exp.... if you have little it will go down... also depends on the specific companies salary bands. I hope you get an increase, with that said do go in with a number in mind
Seconding company research. Pay can vary widely from company to company, so one could mean an increase and another...not so much. Good luck on the interview either way; it's good to stay tuned in with opportunities.
The roles are relatively transferable, so I would guess you'd either get an offer that's in line with what you're making now or maybe a little more. Like the others mentioned, doing a little research on Glassdoor might help you get a more accurate idea of what to expect/negotiate for. Good luck!
What’s your goal? How is the scope of the role changing? Did they come to you, or you to them?
You need to decide what’s important. You’ve got a job now; are you happy? If so then it should cost more to attract you (effectively buying your talent.)
If you’re unhappy…then it depends on how much you’re willing to compromise.
For salary info I recommend salary.com or payscale.com over Glassdoor. Please let us know how your interviews progress but I think there are a lot of factors in whether or not the salary would be higher, lower or the same between the roles. The type and size of the company (ie: industry and number of employees), how many years of experience, the amount of People Ops experience you have, are you going to be remote or on-site, etc. In my current company the TA Manager was hired recently and makes 50k more than the HRBP and Generalist. But I recently interviewed for a position with another local company where the HRBP role was in-line with the TA role at my current company. Different industries, more employees, privately held vs. publicly traded etc. You don’t say where you live but it’s becoming more and more common that companies are willing to (or have to by law) provide you a range for the role. Don’t be afraid to ask them their budgeted range before giving up your desired salary. Good Luck!
