Accenture gave me offer letter after two months without any salary discussion. There is a count down in Accenture portal to accept offer within 7 days. I got a call from HR on the day I received offer letter and she told not to accept the offer and she will call me next day to discuss about it. But its been 5 days now they are not responding to my calls and mails.
Should I accept the offer now ? Will they negotiate the package after accepting?

Get your own mc number and start your own freight broker business.
Look at where I work, and believe me when I tell you, don’t do that. If you don’t have shipper sales experience before starting you are going to have a very hard time succeeding.
Just for reference at our company - somebody generating around $20k per week in margin (cost to the customer - cost to the truck) is going to be making about $10k/month in commission with a $45-$60k base
I have friends in the industry still if you want referrals… where are you located?
Are your skills / effectiveness tied to industry knowledge i.e. you know stuff about freight booking that helps you be effective or are you just a good sales guy? If the latter probably look more broadly there’s all sorts of commission driven sales positions out there in different industries for different products / service. E.g in the tech space you might play well in the MSS cyber market for SMEs or something like that
I work with a company that gives you over 100% comission on everything you bring in. Let's talk. I would love to tell you more about the opportunity.
I’m working with a franchise where the middle group of performers median gross profit is 155k. That’s the high end of the investment. Maybe something for us to discuss. PM me.
If you worked at TQL that would be $2500-$5000 a week in commission.
Interview elsewhere and ask about comp structure during your interview. You aren’t being taken advantage of if they are following the structure they laid out. I used to work at enterprise and know all too well about crap comp
Weed Man Lawn Care has crap comp too. They also mess with pay as well.
Have you brought it up to leadership?
Damn, that’s rough. If you’re a top producer, you can keep adding to your numbers to resume and make a move. No commish is brutal, but if they don’t plan on changing the comp plan, there’s not many options at that point, you know?
Dm me if you want to get into tech sales… great commissions
Interested in this , I’ll like to dm you as well
I’m in the same boat. Been a top producer with zero commission. When I ask leadership, all they say is “you’re on salary for a reason.” Which, quite honestly, makes no sense at all and sounds like excuses.
Sounds massively under paid considering the profits these guys are taking now a days. I would network and see what average pay looks like in the field.
Yea they are taking advantage of everyone. Worked as a carrier sales rep at Werner and our bonus structure was better than that and Werner was honesty low compared to the rest of the industry
I'm also a broker make 35% of profit on any new accounts brought in, and 25% on any existing accounts. Straight commission no salary. I just got 2 buddies a job at a different brokerage and it's 40k base and 35% commission on any accounts they bring in. Your pay structure sounds way off of industry standard.
Seems to be the trend, logistics have slim margins as is. I’m around that number compensation wise... Trying to switch industries with larger margins after a year in my current role
Rising Star
Whew I would have an evidence based conversation showing your exceptional numbers but also start looking because a competitive offer can be leveraged
Your commission should be a percentage of the deals you close, not a flat $800! Try to negotiate that
