In the recruiter interview I wasn’t asked where I live. The job is with a huge sports wear company in Los Ángeles and I live in Miami. Does not living in the same city not make the hiring manger want to hire you even though I would move to the jobs location ASAP? And if they ask where I live do I say I live in their city? Even though I don’t and it’s a contract position.

I wanted to get people's opinions on leetcode, codewars etc when prepping for interviews. I am a junior full stack dev looking to move to a better paying junior role or a mid role and honestly these style of questions have always stumped me. I have found that in a year of work to have never found them useful in tackling real world issues. Now I'm moving from a junior to a mid can I still expect leetcode style questions?

I feel like I'm making a very basic error here, but I'm not sure what. I'm interested in opportunities with Google's Professional Services Organization (PSO). However, my applications to PSO, to date, always end with a standard reject email. I've tried applying three times. Don't plan on applying again anytime soon. But every time I've rewritten my resume to super closely match the requirements of the role. Is there something concrete PSO recruiters are looking for? I am 2xGCP certified.

I’m interviewing for a an EA role to CEO, who is also interviewing for a chief of staff. CEO has alluded to me being a great CoS based on recent exp, and longer term COO and has asked if I’m going to find the EA role limiting. Do I address my interest in the CoS role, plus gaps in my experience or do I focus on the EA role and finding opps to add value outside of EA responsibilities without stepping on the CoS toes? Hireright called me & asked me for the name of my medication, name of pharmacy & their phone number. I called my pharmacy (big retail pharmacy) & they said they don’t give medical info to anyone that’s not my doctor … I’m afraid my offer will be rescinded. I’m freaking out. Alright folks - I have the rescue cattle dog, Poppy. She's been doing great with training. She's a completely different dog than she was 2 months ago. My company was acquired last year & new terrritoy assignments were made Jan 1st. The old AEs had until the end of Jan to close out deals they were working to receive 100% commissions & quota relief. The new AE taking over received 50% comm if the deals closed in Jan. After Feb 1st, the new AE taking on the account received 100% comm and the old AE received nothing. The two deals I had worked for months and in procurement Feb 1 close last week at 445k & $399k. $60+k comm to new AE - $0 to me. 😩

This company I am interviewing with is not proposing a base salary and an OTE. They are asking me to create it and I really need guidance here. It’s an AE role in medical SaaS sales for orthopedics surgery. What do I need to ask? So far I know that they cover medical insurance, there is no 401k, and there are private company stock options. It’s mainly inside sales with maybe 10% travel.

My thought was 75k base and 110k OTE. But they are saying to lower the base and increase OTE.

What I can do if I am not getting paid the right commissions for my sales? They argue that the accounting system is not properly working, but that is not my fault, because I keep selling to my customers.

Hi all. The org i work for pays commissions quarterly, 2 months after the end of the Q. I am currently interviewing for a role that i like, but i am also having one of my best quarters and expect to close 500% of target. If I quit right after the Q ends but before the payday, I am worried I will not be paid fairly. I may be capped or something else. What do you think I need to do? I feel that I will need to reject an opportunity i like because of this paycheck.
