For WLB, pay, and happiness Google is a no brainer IMO. Probably better career development at Amazon but maybe others with more experience can chime in here

Google hands down! Sadly the culture at Amazon was tough and specifically for HR - very demoralizing and didn’t feel respected. Google has given me hope about staying in tech. I would avoid joining google cloud but almost every other area of the company is top notch and has supportive managers.

KFC awards creative business to MullenLowe after FOUR ROUNDS OF PITCHES. That’s right. Not only did they ask agencies to pitch over the holidays, they made them come back… not twice, not 3 times. But 4. Times. Arnold? FCB? Fig? Godspeed to the creative team on this business. KFC is the reason this industry is shrinking and creatives are fleeing in droves. Wieden saw this coming from (many) miles away. Good on them. There are good clients and great brands out there….just not this one sadly.

Seriously considering canceling my Orangetheory membership and going back to a regular gym. After 3 years of replacing my light cardio and lifting with HIIT, I find myself less fit overall. I know diet is a big factor, but I was leaner before HIIT and the workouts this past year have been too cardio/tread heavy. Did anyone have a similar experience?

Hey Everyone! Hope everyone's safe and well :) So I wanted to get an advice on a work related stuff. I have gotten an amazing opportunity in the past and am still getting offers now but the thing is I join a company and then in 6 months or so my mind automatically diverts to look for another opportunity with better salary. Its not that I don't like the work or the company but psychological I feel there's always better opportunities out there and I switch often. How do I not think about it? ✌

A few months ago I interviewed for a trading position. I recently received the job offer and the title doesn’t match the job description I applied for (it doesn’t have the word “trader”), though they insist that job responsibilities haven’t changed. Additionally, variable comp is very low % target and not based on individual performance. Any advice on what to do??

23/F here who has always struggled with weight/self image. Growing up I was never “fat” (until about 16) but was always so much taller and broader than any of my classmates(though In my mind I thought I was just “fat” until looking back at old pics later on) Since 16 I’ve gotten really heavy - I’m now about 60+ lbs overweight. I constantly think about food and weight loss but when I do eat the right things I feel intense cravings and like I’m depriving my body. How can I beat this mindset? Cont.
