Got the second moderna shot yesterday around 5pm est. All day, my body is in such pain, I am crying as I can’t get comfortable, and i have a fever. Took Tylenol but only helps moderately. Feels like the flu with the body pains. Grateful to get it but this feels awful rn. 37 female 🐠

Over the last few years I’ve allowed myself to gain 40 pounds. I often feel uncomfortable and unattractive in my own body, and I fear that the extra weight puts me at greater risk if I were to catch Covid (though I am vaccinated). Despite all this, I struggle to find the motivation to change. I have lost weight before, but it all came creeping back. I feel very cynical about trying to lose it again. I guess I am just not unhappy enough to try again. Has anyone been in the same boat?

I was thinking of taking a lower position at some company and working myself up maybe BI to DA. I would like to work as a dev but a lot of the small companies are offering salaries significantly under 100 for jr dev roles. Any thoughts?

1 yoe as a business intelligence developer and just under 1 yoe as a Junior data engineer for a startup. My current company is in talks with me to hire me as a data engineer right after I graduate with my bachelors degree. From what I’ve seen online (averaging 5 different sites, I am including Glassdoor but only the number they have listed as the base) I’m currently expecting about 85k base. Does this seem too high? I have two job offers, one offers a salary of 61.5k and the other job offers an hourly rate of $27.65 with $41.48 for OT, as well as Sales Incentive Compensation Plan where the annual target incentive compensation is 42.86%. In other words, I could potentially receive quarterly bonuses that add up to around $24,650. However, that bonus isn’t guaranteed according to the offer letter and is contingent on my and my clients performance. Should I take the first job or second job?
