I was “terminated” from one of the shitty IT conglomerates from India today. for no reason at the same time I’m furious because I have documented all the discrimination , sexism, harassment, labor laws broken, intimidation tactics , harassment of various kinds including sexual, so I am demanding a larger severance package the. What they offered which was nothing. I have documented all proof of this. They have consistently set me up in situations designed for me to fail.

Hello! I’d like to share an experience and hopefully receive guidance.

I spent two years as an executive, and while I was providing what I believe was impactful work, and receiving praises across the board, I got fired from one day to the other without any explanation.

After a few weeks, some managers (who were under me) shared that there had been a while campaign raised against me for a couple of months by others VPs and shareholders. 1/2

Everyone else seems to be finding jobs so quickly after being laid off… I’ve been searching for 5 months and keep hitting walls. I’m tired. Depressed. Angry. Sad. I had to start therapy again because it’s all too much and is affecting my ability to function day-to-day. I can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel anymore. How are people able to do this?

I work in insurance. I was working for an Allstate agent and was fired the day after my grandmothers funeral for being “unenthusiastic in our morning meeting”. Now I’m having anxiety searching for a job. I don’t think I want to sell anymore yet every single recruiter I interview with says I should, that I have a “salesperson mentality”. I’m burnt out. 1st of all: I’m super inspired by this bowl. I’m now mid-30s and recently went 50+ days without drinking and felt good/productive. (Longest streak since before turning 21) But how do you stick with it?
