Hi all - I am looking for some advice and possible future options. I have associate/senior KPMG experience and moved to industry working in investment accounting. I have passed the CPA exam and am looking at getting the CFE. It seems like a lot of forensic/fraud positions are based in IT/programming or other computer based skills. Are there avenues in fraud/forensics that would be open to someone with my experience? If so, are there any skills/certs that I would need to be a desirable hire? TIA!

Does anyone know why company level boards in Jira don't support hybrid kanban (true backlog with epics)? It only shows fix version in the backlog and can't show epics. Hey all, I'm a Product Manager 9 months into a Big4 consulting manager role. I've come to the conclusion that although I can succeed in consulting, my preference is to own the roadmap and have a larger influence on the 'what' for a product instead of offering recommendations and executing on another PMs backlog. I've now accepted an offer as PM at a well SaaS product company, where I will have a more hands on role, shaping the product and delivering valuable outcomes. Thoughts welcome! :)

I have 2.5y of product experience at an early-stage startup. This is my first product job where I’ve learned most of what I know on the job itself. Though I’ve shipped our core product from 0-to-1 and it’s doing well, I’m not sure if I’m doing my job properly or well. How are your engineering teams estimating user stories? I want to validate how my company is currently doing them. Let’s say when one user story is broken down into front end task of 3 sp and a back end task of 5 sp, then the estimate they provide for the story is 5 sp. Is that the correct methodology?

I am 2 years into product as my first job. I have a new manager (former lawyer!?) who micromanages everything I do - including stylistic changes to my user stories. I tried having an open conversation with him and now he starts every call with “I am not telling you what and how to do but do x“. Any advice please? I love the company / my job / engineering team but he’s driving me nuts and can’t make decisions on my own product areas🤯
