I got a job offer for what seems to be a great company but I’m not sure if I would have the same life balance. I started interviewing as a way to see my worth in the industry. My current role is at a small company, and I’m not sure how I could grow within the role because Im not advancing my skill, I just do the same thing every day at a lower level. Out of curiosity, what percent of your work/analyses are Excel based? And what other softwares do you use the most (Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx, etc.)

My work has been 90% Excel based 10% Access/SQL based and friends at other firms seem to be using way more advanced programs.

I had a final virtual interview today with two managers (virtual position).

I usually assume the worst and think the interview went okay. There are some things that could've gone better but I don't want to dwell on them.

After the interview, I emailed my recruiter and asked for the managers' emails. I got even more anxious waiting for his response so I ended up finding them anyways and sending them thank-you notes. I interviewed on a Friday afternoon. Am I overthinking?

Why do I get an auto-decline from MBB? I usually get to the online/HireVue interviews for every other company (finance, consulting). I have a high GPA and a lot of research experience in popular fields (ML/DL). But for MBB I get a decline the next day. Is it because my undergrad is from abroad and non-target?
