Just got a follow-up from an interview, after I gave notice I got another offer. The hiring manager said he was still looking for candidates because no one has stood out to him and that if I had given a follow up a little after the interview I might have been extended an offer. What should I do and how?

Do you include all your assets when counting where you are at with your FI number or just the invested assets? My assets vary from cash, cash receivables, foreign real estate properties, precious metals, stocks/ETFs, foreign stocks, jewelries, and crypto. Also, it seems health insurance is a big expense post RE here in the US. This worries me.

It’s been 6 months since I’ve last had a cigarette. The process was pretty seem-less, with no cravings. However, this past has been especially difficult. My sister came to visit and she’s a smoker, she really needed a cigarette while driving, now since I caught whiff of the smoke, this past week has been my worst with cravings. Expecting an offer for an Implementation Consultant role with Allscripts sometime early this week. I have no consulting experience but I am coming in with a 2 year patient care background. Does anyone know what the pay band is for this position? Very much looking forward to the opportunity but I want to make sure I’m getting paid competitively.

I recently (1+ yr ago) transitioned from consulting to industry. The hours are much better. Total comp is less than what I was making on the consulting side (-15% less). My schedule is much better, and I have a good routine outside of work. However, I don't feel accomplished at my current role and feel like I am not learning as much. I was hoping that I would make up for that comp difference in a year or two but upward mobility seems limited. Is it too soon to look for another job?
